Reiki
Shamanism
Reiki is an energy healing technique that promotes relaxation, reduces stress and anxiety through gentle touch. Reiki is a Japanese word that translates to “universal life force energy.” This energy flows through the practitioner’s hands to the recipient to deliver energy to the body, improving the flow and balance of their energy to support healing. It can help to release any blocks in our energy field, and restore us back to a state of balance—physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. Reiki sessions may leave you feeling relaxed, calm, uplifted, lighter in mind and body and physical pain lessened or gone. It clears away and dissolves negative energy such as anger, stress, or tension that stiffens our muscles or our mind, leaving you feeling lighter and uplifted afterwards.
While a reiki healer is one that is able to use the forces of light to aid in healing the mind, body, and soul, a Shaman has the ability to deal with the forces of darkness. He/she has confronted their own shadow-self, their own demons, and walked into their own personal hell and dedicated their life to walking the shamanic path. Specifically used are the teachings of Peruvian Shamanism taught to me through Rev. Esther Jenkins who traveled to Peru and studied with the indigenous spiritual leaders, the “Pacos" who are the carriers of the ancient Andean wisdom. Each session is dependent on the clients own personal needs but can range from Shadow Work, Luminous Healing, Soul Retrieval, Shamanic Journeying, Fire Ceremonies, and energetic healing.

In this 5-week series, you’ll gain a deep understanding of the Andean wisdom and how to integrate its principles into your daily life. This series includes journeying into the 3 worlds of the Shaman, engaging with the archetypes, creating your own Mesa (Shamans Altar) and a ceremony of initiation as a Mesayoq, Level 1 Shamanic Practitioner.
